A project undertaken by myself and a small group of Welsh artists, interpreting the local coastline between Porthcawl and Newport. I have used beach debris in some to add texture. The red paintings and little book tell the local legendary story of The Captains Wife at Sully Island. For Island Girl I made a paper cast of a doll. The shellscapes are little mini landscapes inspired by studying the textured surface of seashells, finding a relationship with the larger landscape they were found in.
